VECTORIS LUNA · LUNAR CONSTRUCTION RESEARCH
Engineering the path toward calculable lunar infrastructure.
An ongoing Vectoris research program mapping the data, physics, validation and computational tools required to move lunar structural engineering from preliminary analysis toward increasingly complete and traceable engineering workflows.
What LUNA is building
The goal is not a single Moon-base design. The goal is a traceable computational engineering framework that records evidence, models, implementation and unknowns independently.

Engineering status chain
- KNOWN
- MODELED
- VALIDATED
- IMPLEMENTED
- UNKNOWN
Engineering status is recorded independently at each step. A model that is implemented is not thereby validated.
Five research domains
Public program dossiers. Related models and gaps are existing registry records, not new results.
| Domain | Status | Related models | Current gaps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lunar Habitat Structures | active | VL-MOD-PSH-001 · VL-MOD-PSH-002 · VL-MOD-BCK-001 · VL-MOD-BRI-001 | VL-GAP-006 · VL-GAP-007 |
| Regolith Geotechnics | active | VL-MOD-REG-001 · VL-MOD-REG-002 · VL-MOD-GEO-001 · VL-MOD-BRI-001 | VL-GAP-001 · VL-GAP-002 · VL-GAP-003 · VL-GAP-006 |

| Lunar Surface Infrastructure | planned | none implemented | VL-GAP-007 · VL-GAP-008 |
Current engineering models
Implementation status and validation status are independent. Implemented does not mean verified.

Preliminary Engineering
Integrated Research-Grade Platform
Qualified Design System
Readiness percentages describe coverage of the defined Vectoris engineering scope. They are not NASA, ESA, ECSS, TRL or certification values and do not represent the percentage completion of a Moon base.
Lunar Engineering Domain Matrix
Independent maturity scores (0–5) across five dimensions for each engineering domain. Strong scientific knowledge in one dimension does not imply validation or qualification in another.
0 = not started · 5 = mature within defined Vectoris scope. All values are provisional internal estimates.
On narrow screens, scroll horizontally to view all maturity dimensions. The domain name column remains visible while scrolling.

Evidence base
External sources are evidence, not partners. Vectoris did not author VL-SRC-001 and does not claim NASA affiliation.

Open engineering gaps
Unknowns are part of the laboratory record. Closing a gap requires evidence, not a software release.
